magic-showMagic shows fascinate me. I realize that most of them are all about illusion, but just watching them and wondering how it is possible intrigues me. Ten years ago, I was at a magic show that left a huge impression on me. In fact, I still have yet to figure it out and it still intrigues me. At the Renaissance Faire in Pennsylvania, they had a magic show in one of the arenas. A friend of mine and our boyfriends at the time sat in the audience joking around. When the magician asked for two volunteers, our boyfriends raised our hands for us. My friend and I were chosen to go on stage.

It's A Magic Show

It was the first time I was part of a magic show and was nervous and excited. He told us each to pick out some cards from a pile, count them, and put them in our back pockets. I had chosen four, and my friend chose five. We glanced at each other and stuck them in our back pockets. He told the audience how many cards we each had and proceeded to launch into some story about how he was going to rearrange the cards and I'd end up with five and she would have only four. I had never been to a magic show that had this time of trick, and thought that it would be impossible to do. My jeans were pretty tight and I would have known if someone had reached into my pocket or seen if someone had walked up behind us. After he was done with his jibberish, he tapped both of our shoulders and asked us to remove and count our cards. Lo and behold, it had worked! I was absolutely dumbfounded. I still am. How he managed to do that is completely a mystery to me.

Memorable Magic Show

That was the most memorable magic show that I'd ever witnessed. I've been to some professional magic shows in Las Vegas or that are touring in my local area and they all are entertaining to me. My cousins used to put on magic shows when we were younger. They never had any successful tricks, but they tried their hardest. I used to pretend to be impressed. Somehow, one of those cousins grew up to be a con artist and was pretty successful at it until he got caught. His magic show ended rather rudely.

Magic Show A Source Of Entertainment

Magic shows are a great source of entertainment for families and children. They are usually inexpensive, unless it is a professional show. Magic shows can be great for birthday parties or field trips. If you ever are at a magic show and someone tries that card trick, watch your back pockets. See if you're as fascinated as I was!
